Reproduction, the journal of the Society for Reproduction and Fertility, publishes original research articles and topical reviews on reproductive biology. It focuses on molecular and cellular mechanisms of reproduction, including the development of gametes and early embryos, assisted reproductive technologies in model systems and in a clinical environment, reproductive endocrinology and reproductive physiology. Emerging topics, such as the biology of embryonic stem cells, cloning and epigenetic effects on embryo development, are encouraged. Special 'focus' issues drawing together reviews and research papers on topical subjects are published. Authors' manuscripts prior to copy editing, page layout and proofing, are now posted online immediately upon acceptance.
