Each issue of Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B is devoted to a specific, topical area of the biological sciences
Description
Individual issues contain either the papers from the internationally acclaimed Royal Society Scientific Discussion Meetings, which attract and bring together scientists from around the world (www.royalsoc.org/events) or comprise topical Theme issues commissioned by the Editor. All are devoted to a single, coherent, area of topical scientific research and all papers are fully peer-reviewed.
The scope of this journal is wide, covering all areas of the biological sciences. In 2010/2011 selected issues will focus on Darwin and the evolution of flowers, neuronal network analyses, Face perception and the future of the Rainforests.
Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B is an established forum for the furtherance of biological science research and a firm requirement for any life scientist.
