What does it cost?

The aim of our licences is to provide institutions with extended online access within their budget.

Portland Press Limited (PPL), the wholly-owned trading subsidiary of the Biochemical Society, is a leading innovative publisher of journals, books and electronic resources. It prides itself on leading the way in content innovation, open access publishing and the delivery of high quality molecular and cellular biosciences research. PPL aims to serve both the scientific community and the aims of the Society in its pursuit of excellence and scientific progression. Profits from the trading activities of PPL are covenanted to the Biochemical Society and returned to the scientific community via its activities.

Portland Press journal prices are competitive and we also offer significant savings to all institutions purchasing online only subscriptions in favour of our combined subscription rates.
